Well... technically 36 hours awake by the time I got back to sleep again!
I decided it was time for another attempt at photographing South Wales, on my previous attempts the weather had turned a bit nasty and although I got some nice shots, I wanted to photograph South Wales on a nice clear day.
So my plan was to start with a sunrise in Tenby, then head over to Waterfall Country in the Brecon Beacons and finally head to The Gower Peninsular for the sunrise.
When I got down to Tenby I was greeted by clear skies and good visibility, which was a relief! The sunrise was perfect and I knew the day was going to go well from then on! I got some nice photographs of the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan, the falls were relatively quiet except for a load of us photographers! There was a little question over the sunset in Rhossilli as the skies had clouded over and it had become quite dull, but as I have learnt over the years, no matter how dull it looks at sunset, do not leave until it's dark! Luckily, my patience (and my lack of energy to get back up to the car park from Rhossilli Beach) paid off and the sunset produced some beautifully colourful skies over Worm's Head.
I have uploaded some of the Tenby photos so far and will continue to add the photos from the day over the next few days.
Hope you enjoy them!
